Well we are starting to get rid of some of our snow. We have close to 3 feet left, but it is melting so hopefully it will all be gone by May. The weather is starting to get warmer so we are spending a lot of time outside, not that we didn't before, but now we stay out for longer periods of time and Alison loves it. We went for a walk on Saturday and the mud and splashing in the puddles was big hit again this weekend. She is becoming quite the little character these days, and very independent. She wants to only walk by her self outside, lucky our road hardly gets any traffic and it's so quiet you can hear a car coming well in advance. Plus, it's a dirt road so there is plenty of mud and puddles these days which is great for Alison but not so good for driving.
On Sunday we met up with the Plummer's and the Hanisko's at the playground. It was a little colder than we had expected but the little ones seemed to have a good time anyways. The big seat swings were a big hit for all of them. Alison actually was closed to falling asleep. They enjoyed the slides as well. It was great to see everyone again after being in VT for the last two weekends.
After the playground we went back to the Plummer's house for lunch and nap (well Payson took a nap, Alison wanted nothing to do with one since she didn't wake up until 9:30, and that was because I had to wake her up). But after nap, the girls (Payson and Alison) had fun jumping in Payson's crib. They have such a good time together, but sometimes they fight like siblings. These next couple years of "sharing wars" should be fun, all part of the adventure I guess! After that we all went outside to play. Who needs toys when you have stairs. These girls could climb stairs for hours.
It was a great weekend once again, but they definitely go way to fast.
